RetuRn Policy

Refunds for all purchases are at the discretion of Stono Knife Works.

Custom work is non-refundable. We will fix or replace the knife as stated in the warranty.

Ready Made Purchases are refundable* if returned within 5 days of delivery date, provided the following are met:

  • Purchaser must notify Stono Kife Works of the intent to return the product(s), along with the reason for return, within the 5-day inspection period (Delivery date + 4 calendar days). Please take into account the description of the item when considering your return.

  • Following receipt of Return Instructions from Stono Kife Works, Purchaser must place the shipment in transit within 3 calendar days of receipt of return instructions. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Purchaser.  Merchandise must be adequately packaged and shipped using a common carrier. In addition, the following add-on services MUST be purchased with the return shipment:

  • Insurance, package value to equal total purchase price of the product(s)

  • Signature confirmation

  • Returned product must be received by Stono Kife Works in the same condition as it was shipped within five (5) business days of the date Purchaser is provided with Return Instructions.

All approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Knives are non-refundable after the 5-day inspection period (Delivery date + 4 calendar days) has elapsed.

Non-knife merchandise (sheaths, sayas, strops, etc) and all custom-engraved and special-order knives are non-refundable.

Any request for a visual product inspection does not change these policies.

If you are returning a product, Stono Kife Works will not process an additional order until the product is received in perfect condition and the return process is completed

What is the current wait time on custom orders?

Three weeks to a month, subject to change. 

How are the prices determined?

Prices reflect sizes and shape of the blade as well as the custom details pertaining to gemstone, maps, and wood choice. In addition to the knife itself the sheath and handle are able to be monogrammed and engraved if desired by the customer.  

Is shipping covered?

The shipping is included within the total cost of the knife and no surprise charges are to be expected after the final payment is taken.

What kind of materials do you have in stock?

The material list both including wood and gemstones fluctuate throughout the year especially during the holiday season, although custom material can be ordered. If this is the case one should expect a slightly longer wait time for their in-demand materials.
